Last Monday we went back to the clinic in Beaucaire with Plume for a check-up after the operation on her knee, they would also remove a large lump on her chest. After we delivered Plume at 8 o'clock we drove on to Saintes Maries de la Mer to enjoy the nice weather. We made a beautiful walk and Jochem enjoyed the beach. After the walk we had a delicious lunch at Ô Pica Pica. Fortunately we were able to pick up Plume again at 3 o'clock - both operations were successful.

Not as beautiful and not as spectacular as le sentier des Ocres in Roussillon - but still worth visiting and not far from our mas.

Last night during our walk around midnight with the dogs our attention was drawn to the moon ....

The circle you see around the moon is a lunar halo. It happens when the moon is bright and the sky is slightly cloudy.

Les Dentelles de Montmirail is only an hour and a half away from our maison d'hôtes - an absolute must for the hikers among us !!

Last friday we went to visit Carrières de Lumières in les Beaux de Provence. We wanted to see the Picasso and the Spanish Masters exhibition before it ends on January 6th, 2019. Than the Carrières is closed until the 1st of March and from then on there is a new exhibition: Van Gogh, the Starry night.
