We -here in Uzès- are ready for X-mas and can hardly wait for Santa to come.

Wij -in Uzès- zijn klaar voor Kerst en kunnen nauwelijks wachten tot de Kerstman komt.

Nous -à Uzès- nous sommes prêts pour Noël et nous pouvons à peine attendre que le Père Noël arrive. 

micocoulliers

op de bovencour hebben wij natuurlijke parasols staan en dat zijn onze micocoulliers. vorig jaar waren wij bang dat ze het niet zouden halen vanwege het natte voorjaar - het bladerdek was bijna doorzichtig en dat in de zomer.

2 micocouliers stonden te dicht tegen de muur en met de mistral beukte ze er tegen aan waardoor de muur scheuren ging vertonen.

helaas hebben wij deze 2 bomen laten omhalen - het is voor ons even wennen - maar we zijn ervan overtuigd dat de andere bomen het gat zullen opvullen.

respect voor de mannen die dit werk in nog geen 2 uur geklaard hebben.

il y a 3 jours, nous avons eu un très beau lever de soleil - même un peu effrayant

3 dagen geleden hadden we een zeer mooie zonsopgang - zelfs een beetje spookachtig

 

AUTUMNN ARRIVES ...

Arles

Avignon
In Avignon, the Palais des Papes, a beautiful castle and cathedral in the center of the city center, is surrounded by lush gardens. Avignon is a lively city, thanks to its university and many drinks and eateries. The Petit Palais is also worth a visit. During a city walk, let yourself be surprised by the numerous "tromp l'oeil’s" in the street scene.

Bonnieux
Are you ready for refined flavors amidst a beautiful decor, surely end up in the hospitable Bonnieux. The town, located on a hilltop of the Luberon, is known for its good wines and delicious lavender honey.
